MODEC recruits an IT Analyst.
We are looking for professional to work as IT Analyst in our office based in Dakar.
To develop activities such as:
Responsible for Office Facilities, infrastructure services, systems and tools (operation, performance, configuration, accounting, security, maintenance, support, projects, demands, incidents, problems and risks), support for strategic IT planning and support for IT-related budgeting at MOSEN, aiming to ensure availability, performance, security and meeting business expectations in terms of scope, deadline, costs and quality for MOSEN’s onshore and offshore operation with regard to technological infrastructure, in line with MODEC’s corporate strategy, policies and guidelines.
- Leverage your own personal and professional development and improvement by seeking and receiving formal, informal feedback and advice, through mandatory, recommended, optional and free training, active communication, critical vision and performance outside the comfort zone.
- Provide 1st level IT technical support (infrastructure and systems) for internal and external customers.
- Contribute to streamlining processes and allocating technological resources and costs in order to meet business needs.
- Be available to meet the demands of the area according to the hours and shifts defined and agreed, on duty or need to board for offshore attendance.
- Act in accordance with good practices, processes defined for technical support services, demands and requests for infrastructure and IT systems.
- Ensure the durability and effectiveness of the resources and services of the IT infrastructure.
- Install, configure and prepare equipment, basic software, tools and services necessary to perform the functions defined for company employees and meet business needs – contributing to their maintenance, support, evolution, service life and replacement as needed, good practices and corporate policies.
- Work in synergy and partnership with the local MdB IT team and the global IT team to provide specialized technical support services for infrastructure and systems for scaling technical issues as needed.
- Manage and control the contracts, payments, expenses, acquisitions, contracting and licensing of local goods and services related to the IT area, in line with its scope and the company’s financial and purchasing policies and guidelines.
- Document the activities that are the basis of the indicators and operational data of the services offered by the IT and Facilities help desk.
Requirements
- Mandatory: Complete Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, Informatics, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar.
- Differential: Postgraduate and specialization courses.
- Differential: Project management certifications, Microsoft certifications related to desktops, servers, connectivity and cloud services and Cisco certifications.
- Proven working experience of supporting, requisitions and infrastructure services and systems for IT.
