Wärtsilä has an upcoming major project and is actively looking for a Procurement Coordinator to complement the Administration team in Dakar, dedicated to Project. Position responsibilities & duties
  • Support project team to prepare and finalize the procurement plan,
  • Issuance of official Purchase Orders in SAP (PS Module) for local procurements
  • Coordination with project / site team for tracking of good receipt,
  • Assessing technical risks related to the local procurements,
  • Follow up with subcontractors for deliveries and invoices and ensuring timely approvals are collected at different levels in Project organization,
  • Possibility to work at project site,
  • Enforcing industry regulations and requirements,
  • Communicates effectively with the project team relative to the procurements, conditions and to provide suggestions for improvements.
  • Preparation of reports, plans, budgets and any other responsibility requested by the Project/Site Manager,
Education
  • BSc in Procurement, Engineering or equivalent combination of education with relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of French and English.
  • Computer literate
  • SAP proficient
Experience
  • Two to Five years of progressive experience in Project.
  • Previous experience in Power plant project will be considered as a clear advantage
