Job Description
- Under broad direction, organizes and coordinates all activities associated with maintaining Sperry Drilling Services equipment at a single facility with multiple sub Product Service Lines (PSLs).
- Ensures operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in an effective manner.
- Develops and implements programs to ensure Safety, Service Quality, and increase equipment reliability.
- Develops, implements, and maintains processes and measures to insure the accuracy of SAP data.
- Supervises others work directly.
- Coordinates work flow of the facility, administers policies, and is accountable for the Repair & Maintenance (“R&M”) finances.
Job requirements
- Skills are typically acquired through possession of a Technical School certificate and 12 years of experience in a related field and management experience OR high school diploma and 14 years of experience in a related field and management experience.
- Experience in negotiating skills, business financial training, management training, PPR, diversity training and HR related training.
- Advanced computer skills which would include standard office platforms and SAP functions required.
- Must possess good communication skills, time management skills, planning and organizational skills. Ability to make effective presentations is required.
- Personnel management experience and detailed knowledge operation of equipment and operating systems is required.
- Must possess ability to read various types of schematic drawings and prints.
