GPF recruits a Head of the Legal Department

GPF hiring Head of the Legal Department.

Role purpose

The incumbent is:

• The legal adviser to the Director-General and the heads of different departments with the task of minimizing the risks associated with decisions and maximizing legal opportunities;
• The head of all legal and administrative aspects relating to the Company’s activities, and the head of strategy (comprehensive guidance) of the legal department;
• The secretary of the company and the head of the legal department team. 

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level
• Minimum 5 years experience practising as a lawyer/providing legal advice
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Experience working in a similar role within Africa
• At least 2 yrs TelCo experience within Africa
• strong leadership and communications skills
