Position Summary

Nestlé Senegal is currently looking for a Category Development Manager to supports the Category Manager in the planning and implementation of the Integrated Commercial Plan in order to generate strong business results for the category.

A day in the life of…
  • Assists the Category Manager in the development of country category plans during the ICP by contributing and providing the required brand related inputs to the process i.e – input on consumer data , BHT etc
  • Supports  the  Category Manager  to achieve NNS/RIG/OG/OP1 objectives at country level for defined category
  • Works with the Category Manager on all brand related inputs for the Monthly Business Planning meetings and actively participates in the meetings.
  • Assist the Category Manager to organise and follow up on all activities and events for the category and makes proposals on areas that need improvement to improve results and the planning of similar activities in the future.
  • Assist the Category Manager to Pre and Post evaluate consumer activities by providing the required inputs (data).
  • Develops briefs for the implementation of consumer activities and obtains the required approval.
What will make you successful
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing
  • Additional experience in sales … will be an advantage
  • Proven track record of consumer understanding.
  • Able to develop and execute category plans.
  • Must have a marketing or related commercial degree.
  • Must be able to speak Wolof (for Senegal), French and English
