Functional Knowledge – The candidate must be familiar with Core MVNE Systems such as HLR, HSS, OCS, PGW, OSS, BSS, CRM, USSD, VMS and should have a minimum of 3+ year experience in working closely with different internal and external stakeholders including Service Delivery, Provisioning, Mobile Engg, Service Assurance, Billing, Collections, etc

Stakeholder communication, relationship, and expectation management – The candidate must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and should be able to manage external MVNE/MVNO/MNO customers by acting as their voice within Tata Communications with effective and smooth operational functioning of the service. Regular reviews and action planning should be effectively managed by the candidate.

Revenue Management – The candidate must have extensive experience (8+ years) in MNO (retail/prepaid/postpaid) industry. Should be able to work with the end customer (MVNOs) in assisting them with the marketing plans and offers which can be successfully launched in the market to gain more market share.

Revenue Growth – The candidate must have a working understating of P&L statements and should apply the domain and functional knowledge in order to grow the business in the account by cross-selling and upselling client portfolio of services within Mobility and other lines of business.

  • Delivers large and complex capacity and infrastructure upgrades to plan.
  • Rigorously manages third-party deliverables, risks, and dependencies to ensure responsibilities and project commitments are met. Ensures that deliverables exceed the SLA agreements with the customer.
  • Identifies opportunities to increase revenue and margin alongside managing any changes to the project.
  • Accountable for managing and tracking the project costs and supporting Business Units in meeting payment milestones.
  • Builds and manages the relationship with key stakeholders
  • Ensures all project deliverables comply with company processes and standards.

Profile

  • At least 6 years experience of successful delivery of large complex projects as a Project Manager and handover to operational service in a Mobile Telecoms/MVNO/MVNE/IoTs/SIM connect environments.
  • 10+ years of total experience Project/Program Management, Mobile Marketing, Business Development understanding, Revenue Retention, and Service Management experience in the telecommunications industry with relevant Mobility and IoT experience.
  • Mobile Telcoms Industry and Mobile Network Operations knowledge are essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of MVNO /MVNE architecture (circuit core, packet core, BSS, Voicemail, SMSC, MMS, and interrelationships is essential).
  • Program management experience with an MVNE would be a distinct advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in IoT deployment and roll-out.
  • Experience in MVNE/MVO/MVNA deployment roll-out.
  • Great people motivation and management skills
  • Customer-facing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in delivering Mobile Telecom infrastructure projects and Datacentre rollout projects.
  • Experience in managing CXO level and senior executive relationships and driving Business Development and Service Delivery teams.
  • Working knowledge of Mobile Engineering, Service Delivery, and Service Assurance processes and operations is an advantage
  • Financial modeling experience is an advantage
  • Flexibility and adaptability to handle diverse cultures and working environments
  • Work experience in South Africa is an advantage
  • Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in Project matrix organization.
  • Either Prince or PMI certifications are highly desirable.
