We are looking for a Distribution Trainee who will support the analysis & decision making process to identify process & cost improvement opportunities within the distribution practices. The trainee will provide PM Sales and Distribution cost monitoring support through the creation and publication of performance tracking sheets and will format and publish weekly and monthly KPI reports related to CSE performances and sales.

Internship description

Distribution and warehouse monitoring

  • Generate all warehouse reporting and conduct analysis with the goal of improving the organization’s warehouse supply operations
  • Identify underperforming areas in the Domestic Distribution flow and suggest improvements or corrective actions to problems
  • Provide daily report on warehouses stock level nationwide and suggest transfers considering days of coverage per areas
  • Audit LSP KPI’s and review LSP invoices before DS validation

Sales follow up and reporings

  • Issue the WS performance follow up and provide an analysis versus targets
  • Issue communication letter to WS with regards their performance
  • Working closely with Customer Service Team and provide analysis of PMMSN customers ordering & delivery
  • Issue on a daily basis the MTG sales order plan in collaboration with the customer service team
  • Issue all performance report related to “Distribution department »

Compliance

  • Ensure the RIM procedures for the Department are properly followed
  • Ensure that market information and Distribution team reporting procedures are properly carried out and analyze results

Internship requirements

  • Hold a College/University degree in Supply Chain; Logistics; International Trade or related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or Import/Export (Distribution) analysis
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate a common sense approach to problem solving
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with internal and external customers at all levels within the organization
