PEG Africa hiring Chief Accountant.
What you will be doing
- Coordinating and monitoring accounting operations
- Ensuring compliance with accounting and financial procedures
- Managing the company’s treasury and fixed assests, in collaboration with the Financial Manager
- Supervising the processing of accounting data into the accounting software
- Ensuring effective collaboration with banking instutitions and suppliers
- Reconciling the company’s bank accounts with paid invoices and salary information, on a monthly basis
- Preparing tax and social security declarations
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and Finances
- Between 8 and 10 years of experience in an audit firm is desirable
- Fluency in english
- Knowledge of accounting software and database tools is desirable
- Curiosity, critical thinking and an analytical mind to validate information
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Experience managing a team would be a plus
